
Scott Saunders is an C-5 and C-17 Air Force pilot,
an FAA Gold Seal flight instructor and a CFI with instrument and
multi-engine ratings.
He is also has glider experience, Sea plane, and served as an instructor at the Air Force Academy.
Scott instructs using his restored 1955 Cessna 170B based
at Potomac Airfield, Maryland (KVKX).
Using this classic tailwheel aircraft, Scott's focus is on "back to
basics" flying and fundamentals that transfer to any aircraft: altitude flying, directional control, preflight planning and aeronautical decision making.
Working with his partner instructors, Scott will also
design "navigation trips" for selected clients that combine experience building and practical in-flight exercises with day trips or overnight trips.
